Mood: Noodles….hot, stir fried or soup noodles… they have a great selection.  Great lunch spot as well.

Tastes Like: it will hit the spot for lunch…not so much for dinner.  I don’t know how I feel about Asian Fusion, but judging from the menu, it’s more korean dishes or chinese.  Take your pick.  I opted for a Korean combo of cold black bean noodles (jja jang noodles) and seafood noodle soup (jampong).  For $10, it’s a heaping amount of food that satiates both hot & cold.  We ordered some Chinese steamed white buns as apps, and they were gigantic.  They were decent enough, so no further complaints necessary.

Must Haves: Check out their $10 lunch specials.  Their food is OK, so nothing to rant must haves on.

Stay Away: NA

Ambiance: Definitely more Chinese restaurant style than Korean.  Whatever that can possibly mean.  Let’s just say I’m glad they tidied up the place.

Service: Took a little bit to order, but once we got past that hurdle, all was quick & attentive.  I guess you have to be during busy lunch service right?

Caveat: Obviously, this review is strictly for lunch only.  Dinner menu looks a bit pricey…but maybe decent at best.

Mood: Ramen or pork buns… this place is not bad…but you also have to be in the mood to wait in long lines sometimes…

Tastes Like: There is something to be said about a bowl of ramen that cost you $16, undoubtedly, made with some major dosage of pork lovin’ care.  There is making no mistake about the fine technique and presentation at Momofuku noodle bar, the most “casual” setting and also the first out of all the restaurant that Chang owns. The dish was delicately balanced… I can’t contest my delightful enjoyment for this bowl of noodle soup, while secretly withholding my contempt, knowing that it’s value is not worth the price tag.  Until I can find one that out beats the competition, I will honor the brilliant brainchild rather than disdain.  Love/Hate?  Possibly.  Rise to the occasion of Chang’s success …. there is something terribly unique about his flavors that make you wanna go back for just a little bit more.  I straight up envy that SOB and want to emulate his success, while still retaining my originality of course.

Must Have: the staple here, ramen bowl

Ambiance: Peachy keen (no pun intended).  The neutral colors puts you at ease, in a comforting way.

Service: Our server did a good job explaining all the dishes to us and she was most polite.
